Mae ap electronig newydd ar gyfer ffonau symudol a theclynnau tabled wedi ei lansio i hwyluso rhannu gwybodaeth â phlant a phobl ifanc ag awtistiaeth a’u cefnogi.

Cynlluniwyd ap ‘About Me’ mewn ymateb i adborth gan bobl ifanc ag awtistiaeth, a bydd yn ei gwneud hi’n haws iddynt gael gafael mewn gwybodaeth am eu cyflwr, ei chadw a’i rhannu â gweithwyr proffesiynol. Nod yr ap yw gwneud y plentyn yn ganolbwynt ymarferion clinigol, a bydd yn darparu dull llai costus o rannu gwybodaeth.

Mae symud i’r ysgol uwchradd yn ddigwyddiad o bwys ym mywyd pob person ifanc. Mae ysgol newydd yn golygu cynefin newydd, mwy o faint fel arfer, ac ynddo ofynion mwy cymhleth, ac yn drac sain i’r cyfan mae nifer fawr o seiniau anghyfarwydd  a dryslyd, o bosib.

Yn achos person ifanc ag awtistiaeth, gall y newid hwn fod yn arbennig o heriol. Gall cefnogaeth wrth baratoi at y newid hwyluso’r broses a gwella’r profiad.

Bydd Taith Dywys Sain Awtistiaeth yn helpu pobl ifanc ag awtistiaeth yn ystod y cyfnod hwn o newid i’r ysgol uwchradd drwy eu galluogi i gyfarwyddo â’r seiniau newydd y gallant ddisgwyl eu clywed, a hynny cyn iddynt gyrraedd y lleoliad newydd.

Cafodd y map hwn ei gynllunio i’ch helpu chi i gyfarwyddo â’r gwahanol seiniau byddwch chi’n eu clywed yn yr ysgol. Engage to Change

Ar hyn o bryd mae’r prosiect Engage to Change yn rhedeg ar draws Cymru i gefnogi pobl ifanc o’r oedran 16-25 gydag anabledd dysgu ac/neu awtistiaeth i fewn i lleoliadau gwaith cyflogedig yn para 6-12 mis.

Rydyn ni’n anelu i helpu 1000 o’r bobl ifanc yma i gyrraedd ei potensial gan ddatblygu profiad a sgiliau trosglwyddiadwy yn y gweithle trwy dull sy’n canolbwyntio ar yr unigolyn, fe fydd yn ei rhoi cyfleoedd pellach a galluogi nhw i gystadlu yn y farchnad lafur. I wneud hyn rydyn ni’n gweithio gyda 800 o gyflogwyr dros pum mlynedd i gynnig hyfforddiant swydd a cymorth cyflogaeth i’r bobl ifanc a’r cyflogwyr.

Mae’r prosiect hyn yn bosib diolch i grant o’r Gronfa Loteri Fawr mewn partneriaeth gyda Llywodraeth Cymru.

The Independent Living Fund (ILF) is an Executive Non-Departmental Public Body of the Department for Work and Pensions. The sponsoring team within the department with responsibility for the ILF is the Disability and Carers Directorate.

They are dedicated to delivering financial support to disabled people and advancing standards of independent living.

Learning Disabilities, Autism and Neurodevelopmental disorders network

The Learning Disabilities, Autism and Neurodevelopmental disorders network (LDAN) is one of 17 research networks funded by the Welsh Assembly Government and supported by the National Institute for Social Care and Health Research Clinical Research Centre (NISCHR CRC). This major health and social care initiative aims to bring research funding into Wales and has created a supportive research structure to achieve this.

SNAP Cymru

SNAP Cymru is a National Charity, unique to Wales, founded in 1986.  Its main aim is to advance the education of people in Wales and support their inclusion. Trained experienced staff and volunteers work with families, children and young people, their parents, carers and professionals working with those who have or may have additional learning needs, which include SEN, disability, and other barriers eg exclusion, disaffection, poverty, deprivation, English or welsh as a second language.
